About · Professionalism above all
Veteran-owned. Built on a promise.
Our mission: we do what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it.
Lyle Contracting Solutions was founded in 2017 to fix what goes wrong on too many commercial jobs — budgets that run over and schedules that slip. We're a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) built around one idea: run a specialty subcontractor with the discipline and professionalism of a well-managed firm, and put that above all else.
We take on three trades — metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings — and deliver them as one managed scope: budgeted, crewed, supervised, and backed by us. Applying advanced techniques and technology, the company that bids your work is the one accountable for finishing it — on time and on budget. That single line of accountability is what makes us the most professionally managed specialty subcontractor in Eastern North Carolina.
To be the most professional, well-respected, high-end commercial drywall and framing subcontractor in North Carolina.

Leadership
Founded and led by an engineer.
Josh Lyle, P.E., LEED AP · President & CEO
Josh Lyle started LCS in 2017 after years of watching commercial jobs run over budget and behind schedule. A civil engineer by training, he built the company to run a specialty subcontractor with the discipline of a professionally managed firm.
He holds a Civil Engineering degree from the United States Air Force Academy and served as an Air Force civil engineering officer. Before founding LCS, he led 15 major commercial projects worth more than $185 million at Rodgers Builders.
That standard showed early: LCS booked $1 million in revenue and $4 million in awarded work in its first year — and hasn't stopped growing since. Off the job, that accountability extends to the community, with LCS active in local education and workforce-development efforts that invest in the next generation of tradespeople and engineers.

What we run on
Safety. Quality. Scheduling.
Safety
Every crew goes home the way they came. Safe job sites are also the ones that run on schedule.
Quality
Framed to tolerance, finished to the specified level. We own the work from layout to punch list.
Scheduling
We hit the dates we commit to. Running the logistics and supervising the work is how we keep control of them.
