Framing sets the pace for the entire jobsite. When metal stud framing is installed plumb and true to plan, the rest of the build flows smoothly. When they aren't, the whole job slows down and other trades are impacted.
LCS delivers commercial metal stud framing across Eastern North Carolina — from load-bearing exterior structures to complex interior partitions. We handle estimation, material procurement, manpower and field supervision to ensure your framing is completed accurately and on schedule.
What we frame
From the building envelope to the last interior partition, we handle the full light-gauge scope.
- Load-bearing (structural) exterior walls
- Interior partitions & demising walls
- Shaft walls & area separation
- Soffits, bulkheads & drop headers
- Furring & interior finishes framing
- Parapets, canopies & exterior details
- Curved & radius framing

Precision Execution & Code Compliance
Layouts are strictly verified against your control lines before track goes down. We install all head-of-wall conditions with the proper deflection systems to ensure joints remain flawless as the structure moves. When it comes to STC sound ratings and fire-rated partitions, every assembly is built strictly to the listed UL and architectural details — no shortcuts, no failed inspections.
Exterior gypsum sheathing
On exterior assemblies, we handle both heavy-gauge framing and gypsum sheathing under one seamless scope. Combining the substrate and structural framing eliminates coordination gaps between separate contractors and ensures an inspection-ready exterior backing for the envelope trades to follow.

One contract, sequenced
Because we also carry the drywall and ceiling scopes, framing hands off to finishing under the same contract — coordinated and supervised by one team. No waiting on a separate sub to mobilize, and no finger-pointing when trades meet.
